Measure first
What we assess
We examine pressure distribution, walking pattern, posture, foot mobility and the footprint. Your everyday shoes and the timing of your symptoms help us understand the complete picture.
Heel and foot pain
Heel pain can feel very local, but the way the foot loads, the ankle moves and the body progresses over the foot may all matter. We measure before recommending an orthotic solution.

The painful spot is not always the only place involved.

Explain clearly
Where appropriate, the orthotic component may include bespoke insoles, footwear guidance, shoe modification or simple exercises. This complements—rather than replaces—medical or physiotherapy care.
Common questions
They may form part of management when the assessment identifies a loading or mechanical requirement. We do not prescribe the same insole for every person with heel pain.
Yes. Bring the shoes you wear most often and the pair associated with the pain. Footwear can change pressure, fit and rollover.
No. Orthotic management may complement a wider treatment plan but does not replace medical assessment, physiotherapy, medication, injections or surgery.
